EXACT PID, ANTENNA AND REGULATORY SELECTION
Cisco Aironet 1832 and 2802 Ordering Guide
Decode antenna type, regulatory domain, 10-unit eco-pack and configurable-software suffixes across exact Cisco Aironet 1832 and 2802 access-point order lines.
Read the order-line differences before purchase
- Aironet 2802E uses external antennas; 2802I uses internal antennas. Antenna identity cannot be changed by software.
- The regulatory-domain letter is part of the exact PID. Cisco requires customers to verify country approval for the selected domain.
- The K910 form identifies a 10-unit eco-pack. It must not be quoted or received as one access point.
- The C suffix identifies a configurable software option; for the 1832I family Cisco documents Mobility Express as the default software option for K9C records.

Deployment and lifecycle checks
- Confirm the regulatory domain is approved for the installation country.
- For 2802E, select and validate the external antenna system separately.
- Confirm the controller or Mobility Express software path and supported release before staging.
- Record whether the quote is for one AP or a 10-unit eco-pack.
- Review current lifecycle and software-support status before adding legacy Aironet hardware to a new design.
