ICX7550-48P Exact Switch Variant

ICX7550-48P is the RUCKUS 48-port 1 Gigabit Ethernet PoE access switch. The official model table specifies 48 10/100/1000BASE-T PoE, 416 Gbps switching capacity and 309 Mpps forwarding capacity for this exact variant.

Forty-eight-port PoE concentration

This model combines the larger copper-port count with powered access. The design must account for simultaneous endpoint startup, power-supply failure and the business impact of concentrating many devices.

Deployment evidence

Group powered endpoints by criticality and calculate normal plus restart demand for each group. Rehearse loss of one supply or stack member and verify which ports remain powered under the approved policy. Preserve switch telemetry, endpoint recovery time and an emergency shedding order. Do not quote a family maximum PoE figure as this chassis's guaranteed delivered budget without the exact supply configuration.

Family boundaries

ICX 7550 variants can participate in the same product family, but copper, PoE and fiber port identities are not interchangeable. Power supplies, optics and licenses must be verified as separate received items unless the authorized bill of materials explicitly includes them.
