ICX7550-24 Exact Switch Variant

ICX7550-24 is the RUCKUS 24-port 1 Gigabit Ethernet copper access switch. The official model table specifies 24 10/100/1000BASE-T, 368 Gbps switching capacity and 274 Mpps forwarding capacity for this exact variant.

Non-PoE copper access baseline

Use this model where attached devices need data connectivity but receive power separately. Map all twenty-four copper ports to endpoint type, VLAN, authentication policy and cabling category; do not budget PoE from this PID.

Deployment evidence

Capture port utilization, error counters, voice or access-point power source and growth by closet. Validate two representative endpoint classes, an uplink failure and stack-member removal. The purchase file should explain why a non-PoE edge is appropriate and identify any powered devices that require injectors or a different switch.

Family boundaries

ICX 7550 variants can participate in the same product family, but copper, PoE and fiber port identities are not interchangeable. Power supplies, optics and licenses must be verified as separate received items unless the authorized bill of materials explicitly includes them.
