ICX7550-24P Exact Switch Variant

ICX7550-24P is the RUCKUS 24-port 1 Gigabit Ethernet PoE access switch. The official model table specifies 24 10/100/1000BASE-T PoE, 368 Gbps switching capacity and 274 Mpps forwarding capacity for this exact variant.

Twenty-four-port powered edge

Use the 24P identity for a smaller powered-device zone. Inventory every access point, phone, camera or sensor by negotiated power class instead of assuming that port count equals available power.

Deployment evidence

Create a device-by-device power worksheet with normal draw, startup draw, redundancy requirement and shutdown priority. Test the highest-demand endpoint, power restoration after reboot and monitoring alarms. Record installed power supplies separately because the base model name does not prove a particular redundant supply population or a universal per-port wattage.

Family boundaries

ICX 7550 variants can participate in the same product family, but copper, PoE and fiber port identities are not interchangeable. Power supplies, optics and licenses must be verified as separate received items unless the authorized bill of materials explicitly includes them.
