ICX7550-24-E2 Non-PoE Access Bundle

ICX7550-24-E2 is the 24-port 10/100/1000 Mbps copper member of the ICX 7550 family supplied as an E2 airflow and power bundle. It is intended for data-only access or aggregation edges where endpoint power is not required.

Exact bundle content

RUCKUS ordering information lists two 400 W AC power supplies and three front-to-back airflow fans. The modular slot is present, but optional port modules and transceivers are sold separately. Receiving inspection must therefore distinguish included field-replaceable units from separately quoted expansion hardware.

Uplink and stack plan

The base chassis provides two 40 GbE QSFP+ dual-mode uplink/stacking ports. Record whether each port is assigned to stacking or network uplink duty, validate optics/cables against the current RUCKUS compatibility list, and preserve a path for stack maintenance.

No endpoint power

This PID has no P or ZP designator and does not supply PoE. Select ICX7550-24P-E2-R3 for 802.3at PoE+ endpoints or ICX7550-24ZP-E2-R3 where multigigabit links and 802.3bt power are required; an external injector is a separate design decision.

Acceptance checklist

Verify the exact PID and serials, both 400 W supplies, all three airflow-matched fans, 24 copper links, management access, selected uplink/stack ports and software baseline. Reject mixed airflow components or an incomplete E2 kit.
