ICX7550-24ZP-E2-R3 Multigigabit PoE++ Bundle

ICX7550-24ZP-E2-R3 is the 24-port ZP configuration for high-power and multigigabit access. Twelve ports support 100/1000 Mbps/2.5 GbE, while the other twelve add 5 and 10 GbE; all are specified for 802.3bt PoE++.

Port groups are not interchangeable

Map endpoints that require 5 or 10 GbE to the correct twelve-port group. A 2.5 GbE-only port may power a device but cannot satisfy a 5/10 GbE data requirement. Preserve the port map with cable category and endpoint capability.

Power acceptance under failure

The E2 kit includes two 1200 W AC supplies and three front-to-back fans. Build a per-port 802.3bt budget, then test the required powered population after loss of one AC feed; configured priority and shedding behavior must match the operating plan.

100 GbE uplink or stack design

Two 40/100 GbE QSFP28 ports provide uplink/stacking options. Verify optics, breakout mode and software support. This differs materially from the 40 GbE QSFP+ boundary on ICX7550-24P-E2-R3.

Three-year support and handover

R3 includes three years of remote support. Handover should retain serial registration, support dates, port-speed map, PoE measurements, airflow inventory, software release and tested uplink/stack configuration.
