4. Reconcile power, fans, uplink optics and mounting parts with the installed environment, then test the actual upstream and endpoint connections in a controlled window.
5. Validate the migrated VLAN, routing, authentication and management functions used at the site. Record unsupported features or configuration differences instead of silently omitting them.
6. Save the pre-change configuration and rollback procedure, test the intended restoration path, and update the asset and lifecycle record only after the replacement passes acceptance.
