Juniper ACX2000 Universal Metro Routers

As part of Juniper Universal Metro Routers, the ACX2000 Series are Ethernet-optimized mobile backhaul routers delivering both switching and carrier-class Ethernet routing, supporting diversified residential and enterprise services such as microwave cell site aggregation and operator cell site deployment. All models adopt 1U single-board design integrated with built-in Routing Engine and Packet Forwarding Engine, which handles full packet forwarding without independent switching fabric. Equipped with fanless passive cooling, these compact routers allow rack stacking to improve port density efficiently. This lineup covers ACX2000, ACX2100 and ACX2200 with distinct fixed port layouts. ACX2000 carries 16 T1/E1 ports, eight copper GbE ports, two SFP and two SFP+ slots. ACX2100 features 16 T1/E1 interfaces, four fixed copper GbE plus four shared COMBO ports alongside two SFP and two SFP+ ports. Environment-hardened ACX2200 is Ethernet-only and free of TDM interfaces, perfectly optimized for IP-RAN field deployments. High-density interfaces and robust throughput make the whole series ideal for carrier-grade mobile backhaul scenarios.
