Separate hardware capacity from the deployment design

The 7005 installation guide gives the hardware reference above. For AOS 10, consult the separate gateway scaling table and distinguish tunneling-device counts from AP-license limits. The Classic Central 2.5.8 licensing FAQ describes a Foundation Base-Capacity option limited to 75 concurrent clients. Confirm the intended mode and subscription instead of treating every 7005 order as having the same usable capacity.

Choose an ordering code

Use the product cards below to compare exact regional and FIPS/TAA descriptions. Ask for the required ordering code, intended country, software release, AP count and client workload. Verify any proposed replacement against the site design; a regional suffix or newer part number alone does not establish interchangeability.

Power and installation checks

Distinguish a controller that receives PoE power from a switch that supplies it. Specify the approved power arrangement and included adapter or injector in the quotation. Check mounting, cable access and support eligibility before committing to an installed-base replacement.
