S1730S-L24P-A PoE Access-Switch Identity

S1730S-L24P-A is Huawei's 24-port P-designated member of the S1730S-L family. Its purchasing role is copper access for powered endpoints, so it must not be substituted with the L24T-A data-only model when cameras, access points or phones rely on switch-supplied power.

Build the endpoint power schedule first

List every powered device, its 802.3af/at class, maximum demand and startup behavior. Verify the total PoE capacity of the exact shipped unit and power arrangement before allocating all 24 positions; port count alone does not prove that every endpoint can draw its maximum simultaneously.

Keep the A suffix on the order

The terminal A is part of the exact model identity. Match the purchase order, carton, chassis label and serial record to S1730S-L24P-A rather than assuming that an MA sibling has identical software, management behavior or included accessories.

Installation and acceptance
