S1730S-L16T-A Fanless 16-Port Access Switch

S1730S-L16T-A provides 16 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ45 interfaces in a compact, naturally cooled chassis. Huawei specifies an internal single AC power supply and explicitly states that this model does not support PoE, so it is intended for data-only copper endpoints.

Data-only endpoint planning

Count every access point, phone, camera or other powered endpoint separately: this switch cannot supply 802.3af/at power. Use local adapters or a different PoE-capable model where endpoint power is required, and keep the S1730S-L16T-A order tied to non-PoE use.

Silent installation boundary

Huawei documents fanless natural cooling, a 250 x 180 x 43.6 mm basic chassis and up to 10 W power consumption at full traffic. Preserve ventilation space and avoid sealed enclosures even though the switch has no fan noise.

Power and resilience

The built-in supply accepts 100-240 V AC nominal input. Because the model uses a single internal supply and has no replaceable redundant PSU, document the upstream power source, surge protection and service replacement plan for sites that require continuity.
