S1730S-L24P-MA 24-Port PoE Access Switch

S1730S-L24P-MA is the 24-port P-series member of Huawei's CloudEngine S1730S-L family. It is intended for copper endpoints that need network connectivity and switch-supplied PoE, unlike the L24T-MA data-only variant.

PoE load schedule

Create a per-port list of access points, cameras, phones and other powered devices with negotiated standard, maximum watts and startup demand. Twenty-four physical PoE-capable ports do not mean that every endpoint can draw its maximum simultaneously; validate the total power budget for the exact device and supply.

Copper and uplink plan

Assign all endpoint ports by VLAN and failure domain, preserve spare capacity, and verify any separate uplink interfaces and supported media from the exact Huawei hardware record. Do not use a generic S1730S picture as evidence of port count or uplink type.

MA software boundary

Capture the installed software and management behavior during receiving. Confirm VLAN, loop prevention, PoE control and monitoring needs against the exact release rather than assuming feature parity with newer CloudEngine campus switches.

Acceptance

Match the full S1730S-L24P-MA label and serial, verify PoE negotiation on representative endpoint classes, test copper links and uplinks, and record available power headroom under the planned load.
