FC-10-F120G-204-02-60 is the upgrade of an eligible Premium support position to Elite for one registered FortiGate 120G for 5 years. This FC code adds a support or replacement entitlement to an eligible registered serial; it is not an FG hardware or bundle order.

FortiGate 120G eligibility boundary

Confirm the exact SKU, appliance serial, account, service country, start date, supported FortiOS and any prerequisite contract before ordering. The 120G is diskless, so this service does not provide local evidence retention; configuration backups and security logs need customer-owned external destinations.

Contract acceptance

Confirm the underlying Premium contract, serial, remaining dates, region and intended Elite outcome. Verify both base and upgrade records after replacement, account transfer or site change.

Case and recovery evidence

Maintain a linked base-and-upgrade contract record with identifiers, dates and account proof. Compare actual priority incidents and escalation outcomes with the approved upgrade purpose. Link every escalation or replacement event to the affected serial, approved contact, configuration-restoration result and external event record.

Five-year support lifecycle

Review account custody, software support, case history, power and HA evidence, configuration recovery and external logging every year. A long entitlement does not guarantee that the original topology remains appropriate.

Long-horizon dependency map

Track carrier contracts, branch lease, rack power, HA peer, authentication systems, certificate authorities, external logging and the budget cycle that funds a successor. Record which dependency can force retirement before the entitlement expires.

Migration trigger register

Define triggers for unsupported software, recurring failure, capacity pressure, replacement-part constraints or a major network redesign. Assign funding and migration ownership before a trigger becomes an outage.

Year-three technology gate

Media and authorization closeout

Because the 120G is diskless, confirm that required evidence resides in approved external stores; still remove credentials, certificates, tokens and management authorization from the retired serial. Retain the approval and completion record with the asset disposition file.

Excluded from this order

A valid Premium foundation is required; the line includes no appliance, security subscription, duplicate base contract, independent term or automatic geographic eligibility.
