FC-10-F120G-210-02-12 is the next-calendar-day replacement service for eligible approved FortiGate 120G hardware incidents in supported locations for 1 year. This FC code adds a support or replacement entitlement to an eligible registered serial; it is not an FG hardware or bundle order.

FortiGate 120G eligibility boundary

Confirm the exact SKU, appliance serial, account, service country, start date, supported FortiOS and any prerequisite contract before ordering. The 120G is diskless, so this service does not provide local evidence retention; configuration backups and security logs need customer-owned external destinations.

Contract acceptance

Verify site eligibility, cut-off, address, receiving contacts, customs and return owner. Trace authorization, shipment, secure receipt, configuration restore and old-unit obligation.

Case and recovery evidence

Keep a tested configuration backup, interface map, external-log disposition and serial ledger ready. Measure diagnosis, approval, transit, site access, restore and customer validation separately. Link every escalation or replacement event to the affected serial, approved contact, configuration-restoration result and external event record.

Annual support operating plan

At activation, record the registered serial, FortiCloud account, named support contacts, approved administrators, supported FortiOS release, configuration-backup location and external event destination. Recheck access quarterly and close stale administrators before renewal.

Thirty-day readiness check

Within the first month, open the support portal, confirm entitlement dates, identify the person allowed to approve a replacement and retrieve a current configuration from the customer repository. Correct account or country mismatches while the purchase record is still readily available.

Quarterly case sampling

Select one closed case or, when no case exists, run a documentation and escalation drill. Verify serial selection, severity rationale, timestamps, uploaded diagnostic handling and the route used to return the resolution to operations.

Annual renewal evidence

Before the final quarter, summarize cases, replacement events, unresolved defects, software constraints and recovery tests. Use that record to select renewal, changed support level or platform migration rather than renewing from the SKU label alone.
