The ordering token 00603 identifies a legacy D-series data-center platform. Capture HA roles, external logging, firmware eligibility and the migration dependency. A replacement plan for this older generation should identify configuration conversion, policy validation and the milestone that ends further support add-ons.

For the 600D, attach current firmware inventory, the last HA recovery result, configuration-conversion notes and the approved successor design. The incident owner should know which migration dependency prevents immediate retirement and which milestone ends further service purchases. If replacement occurs, validate policies and routing on the successor rather than assuming a legacy configuration restores without adjustment. This evidence turns RMA coverage into one component of a controlled D-series transition.

RMA Scope

Document the organization’s media-retention, destruction, legal-hold and chain-of-custody requirements before activation. Identify who authorizes nonreturn and how the failed asset is quarantined and disposed of. If faster replacement is also required, verify a separate eligible Priority RMA service rather than assuming Secure RMA changes delivery speed.
