FC-10-00603-274-01-DD is an upgrade entitlement that moves an eligible hardware-bundle FortiCare contract from 8x5 to 24x7 support coverage for one existing FortiGate 600D. It does not include the appliance, a new base contract, security subscriptions, managed operations or automatic hardware replacement beyond the confirmed support terms.

Eligibility and Boundary

Code 274 is an upgrade path tied to an eligible underlying hardware bundle. Confirm the current base contract, serial, bundle suffix, upgrade dates and present FortiCare replacement code; an upgrade cannot stand alone when the required base entitlement is absent or unsupported.

FortiGate 600D Acceptance

The 600D support upgrade requires a written lifecycle check. Confirm that Fortinet will still accept the serial under the intended 24x7 tier and state any firmware, backdating or end-of-support limitation. Do not buy an upgrade merely because the old code exists. If eligible, validate portal access and escalation; if not, preserve the quote evidence and move budget to a replacement platform plan.

For this legacy 600D, create a supportability matrix covering hardware lifecycle, firmware availability, case eligibility and replacement options. Require a dated answer for each row. A 24x7 label has little value if engineering support cannot provide a supported software path or replacement service. The renewal decision must therefore include a maximum retirement date and a funded transition owner.

• Confirm 24x7 case access, contacts, evidence approval, escalation and after-hours ownership.
• Run a harmless entitlement case and preserve the portal response, dates and acceptance decision.
