FC-10-00603-928-02-DD Compatibility and Scope

FC-10-00603-928-02-DD is an electronic Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) service entitlement for an existing FortiGate 600D. It does not include a FortiGate appliance, replacement chassis or physical shipment.

Platform-Specific Check

FortiGate 600D is an older D-series data-center platform rather than a 600E or 600F. Confirm current service eligibility, the approved firmware train and the replacement horizon before assigning an open-date ATP contract. The operational record should name both members of any high-availability pair, the maintenance-window owner, external event repository and migration dependency. Because this generation may have a shorter remaining service life than the requested entitlement, procurement must document why continued coverage is preferable to replacement. A generic six-hundred-series label is not sufficient evidence for this SKU. Because this platform is recorded as diskless, confirm the external log and evidence-retention path separately from ATP coverage.

For this legacy generation, retain a support-eligibility confirmation, current firmware inventory and approved successor design with the purchase file. A renewal decision is defensible only when the organization has compared the operational risk of continued D-series service with the timing and dependencies of migration.

ATP Services Included

Fortinet describes ATP as foundational protection for network and file threats. The current bundle includes intrusion prevention, anti-malware with antivirus and cloud-based sandboxing, application control and FortiCare Premium. Web and DNS filtering are UTP capabilities and must not be assumed from this ATP SKU.

Activation Record

For a DD order, this page deliberately does not infer a duration. Obtain the authorized Fortinet quote and record its exact start date, end date, co-termination basis, serial association and service geography. Procurement acceptance must compare those dates with the existing contract and reject any unexplained overlap. The quote, not the suffix alone, is the controlling evidence for entitlement length. Bind the order to the exact appliance serial, FortiCare account, customer region and existing contract record.

The quote-defined acceptance pack must retain the commercial line, authorized dates, account owner and reason for any co-termination adjustment. Do not convert DD into a standard annual or multi-year label in internal systems; preserve the quoted evidence so future reviewers can reconstruct the actual coverage interval.
