FC-10-00603-900-02-DD is a historical UTM subscription combining 8x5 FortiCare with application control, IPS, antivirus, web filtering, antispam and FortiSandbox Cloud services for one existing FortiGate 600D. It does not include the FortiGate appliance, 24x7 support, deployment services, guaranteed prevention, endpoint protection or a managed SOC.

Commercial Boundary

Code 900 is a historical 8x5 UTM bundle. The DD suffix requires quote-specific dates. Confirm current orderability, service update support and the Fortinet-approved successor instead of treating the page as a firewall hardware listing.

• Verify serial, FortiOS, account, term, service updates, current orderability and successor bundle.
• Map every enabled inspection service to exact policies, owners, logs and approved exceptions.
• Use harmless positive and negative tests, verify actions and retain rollback evidence.
• Review 8x5 support limitations, false positives, uninspected traffic and renewal decision.

Validation Workflow

A 600D UTM renewal begins with platform and FortiOS eligibility. Confirm that current signatures and the historical 8x5 bundle remain supportable before changing production inspection. If eligible, test only existing policy profiles with harmless samples and record update state, detection action and rollback. If not, identify a supported replacement rather than presenting an obsolete service as a current hardware purchase.

The 600D decision should explicitly compare the risk of renewing a historical bundle with the risk of moving inspection to a supported platform. Document signatures still available to the running FortiOS, unsupported features, TLS limitations and the date beyond which exceptions are no longer accepted. Do not create aggressive new profiles on an aging appliance merely to make the page appear current.
