Compare installed position, obstructions, channel width, client density and measured coverage with the approved survey. Repeat affected measurements when the final mounting, antenna, ceiling construction or obstructions differ from the design.
Commission association, authentication, address assignment, DNS and application reachability with representative clients. Separate wireless, authentication, DHCP and upstream failures in the acceptance record so a successful ping does not hide a broken user path.
Record the movement path, neighboring cells, client type, interruption and management events rather than only a static association. Test entry and exit from the AP cell; a local coverage improvement can still create a poor boundary with neighboring radios.
