Cisco publishes thirteen 2.4 GHz channels at 2.412-2.472 GHz, eight 5 GHz channels at 5.180-5.320 GHz and five at 5.745-5.825 GHz. Verify the installation country and controller regulatory state in Cisco's current compliance lookup before enabling radios.
One local Ethernet port can provide 802.3af class 0 PoE only when the AP itself receives 802.3at power. With 802.3af input, Cisco specifies no PoE output. Record PSE class, negotiated input, downstream device load and port state; a powered AP alone does not prove that its phone or camera output path is usable.
Inspect the rear uplink, bottom-facing local ports, passive pass-through and mounting bracket. The AIR-AP1815W-KIT spacer and jumper are sold separately, as is the security kit. Receiving should reconcile those accessories instead of assuming that a wall installation is complete from the AP PID alone.
The K9C order uses Mobility Express as its default software option. Capture current image, primary/subordinate role, country, configuration backup and recovery result.
