901-R310-WW02 Standard-Managed Indoor AP

901-R310-WW02 is a concurrent dual-band 802.11ac indoor access point using 2x2:2 radio chains. The 901 prefix identifies the standard-managed order, WW is the regional code, and its single Gigabit Ethernet interface accepts 802.3af PoE.

Do not relabel R310 as Wave 2

Official R310 material describes 802.11ac without the Wave 2 designation used by 901-R320-WW02. Keep that generation distinction in replacement and capacity decisions. A matching enclosure, stream count or price does not make the two PIDs interchangeable.

Single-port cabling and power

The AP has one 1 GbE RJ45 port, so there is no second wired path to reserve for another endpoint. RUCKUS lists up to 11 W under 802.3af operation and does not include the power adapter in the exact AP order. Validate PoE negotiation and keep injector or DC-supply requirements as separate BOM lines.

Regulatory and management verification

Bind the WW PID to the intended country and approved controller, virtual appliance or cloud release. Confirm country profile, channel availability and firmware compatibility before adoption; do not infer an Unleashed entitlement from the R310 family name.

Acceptance record

Capture label and serial, management ownership, firmware, configured country, one Ethernet link, PoE draw, both radios, SSID/VLAN mapping, authentication, roaming and survey result. Correct the CMS taxonomy to R310/R320 access points rather than retaining an R720-only label.
