S5700-28C-PWR-SI PoE Configuration Control

S5700-28C-PWR-SI is a Huawei S5700-SI PoE switch identity referenced throughout the official S5700 hardware description. It is a configurable chassis: the model name alone does not prove which power modules, front interface card or stack card are included.

Receive the complete power configuration

List each installed power module by part number and measure the available PoE budget against the actual endpoint load. A switch with empty or lower-rated power slots cannot be accepted from the number of access ports alone.

Map optional cards and uplinks

Record the installed front interface card, any rear stack card and every optic or direct-attach cable. Validate link speed and peer compatibility with the exact software branch and retain the tested module inventory.

Test endpoint restart and recovery
