Separate the eight-port copper banks

Create an explicit map for the eight Fast Ethernet and eight Gigabit endpoints. Cameras or phones with modest traffic may fit the lower-speed bank, while access points, recorders or other higher-throughput devices should be validated on the Gigabit bank; do not promise Gigabit service from every copper connector.

Power admission is an acceptance test

The FP model supports PoE+, but the project still needs the real endpoint class, startup surge and switch-wide available wattage. Test simultaneous restart of the intended powered devices and retain measured headroom instead of deriving a budget from port count.

Preserve uplink capacity

Four Gigabit SFP interfaces allow multiple upstream or resilient assignments, but each optic and fiber route must be checked against the peer. Document which ports are production uplinks, which are reserved, and how loss of one path is detected and recovered.

Operational handover

Huawei lists this exact model among switches that can report to iMaster NCE-Campus on V200R020C10 and later. Where that function is used, validate time synchronization, telemetry and alarm ownership. Handover evidence should include the full model label, serial, software, endpoint map, PoE result and SFP link tests.
