Five-Year SOCaaS Governance and Continuity Plan

FC-10-F50G5-464-02-60 supplies five years of FortiAnalyzer Cloud with SOCaaS for one eligible FortiGate 50G-5G. The service supports long-term managed monitoring, analyst triage and confirmed-threat escalation. It does not transfer ownership of customer risk, response or recovery to Fortinet.

Keep contacts and authority current

Maintain primary and backup responders, after-hours routing, severity definitions and decision authority. Revalidate the matrix after organizational or supplier changes and exercise it across business hours and holidays. A five-year contract does not keep contact data accurate automatically.

Detect telemetry drift

Track which FortiGate policies, security profiles, VDOMs and connectivity paths provide the evidence used by SOCaaS. Recheck forwarding, clock synchronization, parsing and ingestion after firmware, branch or 5G-routing changes. A quiet portal must not be assumed to mean a quiet environment.

Convert cases into control improvements

For each confirmed escalation, record the affected asset, root cause, customer action and follow-up owner. Group recurring conditions and update policies or playbooks through approved change management. Verify closure rather than treating analyst escalation as remediation.

Run a midterm lifecycle gate

Assess the firewall replacement date, FortiCloud-account strategy, regional service availability and log-capacity needs. Confirm current service behavior and transfer or co-term options before any serial or tenant change; history and entitlement movement should not be assumed.

Prepare the final-year decision

Review outcome measures, unresolved actions, telemetry coverage and required evidence exports. Decide whether to renew, migrate or redesign the monitoring model before expiry. Preserve contacts, reports and configuration records needed for a controlled transition.

No FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer appliance, unlimited storage, guaranteed prevention, endpoint response or full forensic retainer is included unless separately stated on the authorized quotation.
