One-Year SOCaaS Operational Acceptance for FortiGate 50G-5G

FC-10-F50G5-464-02-12 is a 12-month FortiAnalyzer Cloud subscription with SOC-as-a-Service for one eligible FortiGate 50G-5G. Fortinet maps service code -464 to cloud logging and analytics with managed monitoring, alert triage and escalation. The customer still owns business-impact decisions, containment and recovery.

Prove telemetry before accepting service

Confirm that required security and event logs reach the correct FortiAnalyzer Cloud tenant with accurate time, device identity and policy context. Exercise primary and 5G failover paths where both carry production traffic. A managed analyst cannot investigate records that are absent, delayed or associated with the wrong asset.

Approve the notification route

Record primary and backup contacts, severity routing, time zones and authority to act. Run a controlled notification test and verify portal access, case details, acknowledgement and transfer into the customer's incident workflow. Keep the accepted contact matrix with the contract record.

Define the response boundary

Document who validates business impact, isolates systems, preserves evidence and closes remediation. SOCaaS filters and escalates relevant findings; it should not be described as automatic prevention, unrestricted forensic support or transfer of the complete incident lifecycle.

Use the first year as a measurable pilot

Track forwarding gaps, confirmed escalations, acknowledgement delay, noisy controls, unresolved customer actions and repeated causes. Review results before renewal and decide whether logging scope, internal playbooks, FortiAnalyzer Cloud capacity or contact coverage must change.

Purchase record

Confirm the exact SKU, serial, FortiCloud organization, region and 12-month dates. Firewall hardware, FortiAnalyzer appliances, additional ingestion, endpoint response and implementation labor remain separate unless explicitly contracted.
