Three-Year SOC Escalation and Response Collaboration

FC-10-F50G5-464-02-36 provides three years of FortiAnalyzer Cloud with SOCaaS for one eligible FortiGate 50G-5G. Code -464 adds managed analyst monitoring and escalation to the cloud logging service; it is distinct from logging-only code -585 and includes no appliance.

Phase one: establish a reliable handoff

Validate security-log coverage, tenant ownership, portal access, named contacts and severity routing. Run a tabletop or controlled escalation and record who can authorize containment on the branch firewall, endpoint or connected cloud service. Preserve the result as onboarding evidence.

Phase two: improve signal and action quality

Review recurrent alerts, false-positive drivers, telemetry gaps and delayed customer actions. Tune relevant controls through approved change management and keep internal response playbooks aligned with the evidence supplied in SOCaaS cases. Reconcile contacts and roles after staffing changes.

Phase three: assess the service outcome

Measure confirmed escalations, acknowledgement latency, repeat incident causes, open remediation and periods of missing telemetry. Compare monitored scope and capacity with the current business environment before renewal. Alert count alone is not a useful success measure because analyst triage intentionally filters findings.

Maintain shared responsibility

Fortinet analysts monitor, investigate and escalate under the current service description. The customer remains responsible for asset context, risk decisions, containment, recovery and verifying that corrective action is complete.

Contract boundary

Retain the exact 36-month SKU, eligible serial, FortiCloud organization, region and current service terms. Hardware, unlimited log capacity, guaranteed prevention and a full incident-response retainer are not included.
