FC-10-0401E-284-02-DD is a per-device FortiCare Elite support entitlement for one existing FortiGate 401E. It is an electronic service code; it does not include the firewall appliance, a FortiGuard security bundle or a separately expedited RMA option.

The DD suffix on this page does not establish a fixed number of months. Preserve the authorized quote, exact start and end dates, current contract expiry, registration region and any co-termination terms. Match token 0401E to the installed 401E serial and confirm who owns storage health, alert response and failed-media decisions throughout the authorized dates.

• Verify the FortiCare account owner, registration region and present coverage end date.
• Confirm Elite Portal recipients, incident contacts and recovery evidence.
• Order Priority RMA or Secure RMA separately when those controls are required.

FortiGate 401E Operations

The ordering token 0401E maps this support SKU to a storage-equipped E-series mid-range firewall. Preserve the 401E serial, HA relationship, interface ownership, local SSD health, log-retention purpose and export destination. Do not merge this record with 400E: storage validation and failed-media custody remain specific acceptance requirements for the 401E.

Route Elite alerts to both network operations and the custodian responsible for locally retained events. A support case should identify the configuration revision, affected interfaces, HA state, SSD condition and export status. Replacement closure requires policy recovery plus verified local and central evidence behavior.

Support Scope

Fortinet describes Elite as per-product support with 24x7 follow-the-sun engagement, enhanced response targets, Elite Portal access, automated monitoring and alerts, and security-hygiene recommendations for eligible FortiGate products. Firmware access and replacement remain governed by registration, diagnosis, current service terms and geography.
