FC-10-00603-247-02-DD Support Identity

FC-10-00603-247-02-DD is a per-device FortiCare Premium support entitlement for an existing FortiGate 600D. It does not include a firewall appliance, security-service bundle or separately expedited RMA add-on.

Premium Support Scope

Fortinet lists Premium support with web and telephone support, firmware updates, asset-portal access and advanced replacement under applicable RMA terms. Current Fortinet material gives Premium a one-hour target for critical issues and next-business-day response for non-critical issues. Delivery and replacement availability remain subject to diagnosis, service terms, cutoff times and geography.

Device Acceptance

This is an older D-series platform. Support acceptance should record firmware eligibility, the HA peer, central logging and the funded replacement milestone. A long contract must be justified against the remaining operational life rather than purchased from a generic six-hundred-series label. The asset is a D-series data-center firewall; keep configuration backup and recovery ownership outside the commercial entitlement record.

For audit evidence, attach the current firmware inventory, support-eligibility confirmation, last failover result and the approved successor architecture. The record should explain why continued D-series coverage is needed and identify the migration dependency that prevents immediate retirement. This separates a deliberate continuity decision from an automatic renewal of a legacy asset.

A service review for 600D should start with obsolescence exposure: unavailable spares, unsupported software dependencies and the sequence for moving policies to the successor. Keep the contract only when it closes a documented transition risk. The approval note should name the migration gate that will end further renewals.

Quote-Defined Term Governance

The DD suffix does not establish a duration on this page. Record the authorized start and end dates, co-termination basis, service geography, account owner and serial association before purchase. Reject unexplained overlap with active coverage and preserve the quote so future reviewers can reconstruct the actual support interval.

The quote-defined evidence file must retain the commercial line, authorized dates, account owner and reason for any co-termination adjustment. Do not translate DD into an assumed annual or multiyear label in the asset register. Preserve the original quote and activation confirmation as the controlling record.
