The quote-defined acceptance pack must retain the commercial line, authorized dates, account owner and reason for any co-termination adjustment. Do not convert DD into a standard annual or multi-year label in internal systems; preserve the quoted evidence so future reviewers can reconstruct the actual coverage interval.

Exact Platform Boundary

FortiGate 300E is the diskless member of the 300E pair. Its serial, high-availability peer and external log repository must be checked independently from FortiGate 301E. The acceptance record should capture rack location, protected zones, central evidence-retention target, failover test date and the team responsible for antivirus or IPS update failures. Local-storage assumptions copied from the 301E would be incorrect. Before activation, compare the entitlement date with the mid-range firewall refresh plan and confirm that the exact 300E asset remains the production inspection point for the intended term. Because this platform is recorded as diskless, confirm the external log and evidence-retention path separately from ATP coverage.

The mid-range acceptance file should show which interfaces carry inspected traffic, where logs are archived and when failover was last exercised. These controls demonstrate that ATP will be used by the exact diskless appliance rather than attached to a generic three-hundred-series asset record.

ATP Package Meaning

Fortinet describes ATP as foundational protection for network and file threats. The current bundle includes intrusion prevention, anti-malware with antivirus and cloud-based sandboxing, application control and FortiCare Premium. Web and DNS filtering are UTP capabilities and must not be assumed from this ATP SKU.
