FC-10-00306-980-02-DD is a historical Enterprise Protection subscription combining FortiCare with application control, IPS, antivirus, web filtering, antispam, cloud sandbox, security rating and other platform-dependent services for one existing FortiGate 300E. It is a service entitlement for an existing appliance; it does not include firewall hardware, automatic deployment, endpoint protection, managed operations or a guarantee that every historical component remains orderable.

Platform Validation

Map every bundled service to the 300E policies that actually use it. Validate application control, IPS, malware, web and mail decisions with harmless samples; then review cloud, rating or conversion features separately rather than assuming bundle activation configures them. Capture update state, logs, owner approvals and one false-positive workflow. Finish by confirming how incidents outside the historical support window are handled under the current successor.

The 300E evidence pack is a service-to-policy matrix. Each purchased capability is marked active, intentionally unused, replaced by another control or unsupported. This prevents renewal of overlapping features and gives the next engineer a reproducible test instead of a generic bundle description.

Term and Successor

The DD suffix represents a variable-duration ordering record. Contract dates, service composition and current successor codes must come from the quote and registered serial rather than being inferred from the URL.

Historical Enterprise Protection composition changed over time. Validate every required service against current Fortinet ordering information and the platform release; do not copy inclusions or cloud-user allowances from a different model or generation.
