What this PID does not mean

The base PID establishes the platform selection but not the final Cisco DNA tier or subscription term. Cisco's ordering guide requires those choices during configuration, so the authorized quote controls subscription level, duration, software image, memory and power options.

Lifecycle decision

Cisco has announced end of sale for ASR1001-HX. Its notice lists July 31, 2030 as the last support date, so the selected subscription term and deployment horizon must stay inside the supported migration plan.
