AIR-ANT24020V-R is a Cisco 2.4 GHz diversity omnidirectional antenna for indoor ceiling installation. It covers 2400-2500 MHz and is not a dual-band 5 GHz antenna.
Cisco specifies 2.2 dBi peak gain, an omnidirectional azimuth pattern and a 97-degree elevation beamwidth. The two-element diversity design requires both leads to be mapped to compatible 2.4 GHz radio ports.
The antenna uses three-foot plenum-rated, UV-stable cables with RP-TNC connectors. Cisco provides hardware procedures for standard, recessed and channel ceiling T-rails. Confirm that the complete bracket kit matches the ceiling system.
The documented operating range is 0 to 55 C and the environment is indoor. UV-stable cable does not make the assembly weather-rated; do not deploy it outdoors without an approved enclosure and design.
Cisco's lifecycle notice identifies AIR-ANT2524V4C-R as a migration option. That replacement is a four-port dual-band antenna, so connector count and RF design must be reassessed rather than treated as a drop-in equivalent.
