EXACT TAA ORDER LINE AND HARDWARE BOUNDARIES
Juniper SRX320-TAA Procurement and Deployment Guide
Verify the exact TAA-compliant SRX320 order line, eight 1GbE interfaces, Mini-PIM expansion and branch deployment boundaries before purchase.
What SRX320-TAA identifies
SRX320-TAA is Juniper's TAA-compliant SRX320 order line. TAA identity is a procurement boundary; it does not turn the platform into a PoE model or include optional Mini-PIM, subscription or support components unless those items are explicitly present on the quote.
Officially documented platform facts
| Selection field | Documented boundary |
|---|---|
| Order-line identity | SRX320, TAA compliant |
| Deployment class | Small desktop firewall for distributed enterprise branch or retail locations |
| Built-in network interfaces | Eight 1GbE ports: six RJ-45 network ports and two SFP ports |
| SFP boundary | Two 1GbE MACsec-capable SFP ports |
| Expansion | Two Mini-PIM slots; Mini-PIMs are not hot-swappable |
| Memory and storage | 4 GB DRAM and 8 GB flash |
Procurement and deployment checks
- Require the full SRX320-TAA PID on the quote and receiving record when TAA compliance is mandatory.
- Confirm whether PoE is required; Juniper documents SRX320 variants with and without PoE, so the base TAA label must not be treated as proof of PoE capability.
- Select SFP transceivers through Juniper's current Hardware Compatibility Tool rather than assuming every 1GbE optic is supported.
- List any required Mini-PIM separately and plan a powered-off installation because Mini-PIMs are not hot-swappable.
- Validate Junos release, security subscription and support-contract requirements independently from the hardware PID.
