The chassis-specific standard accessory kit
Cisco's Catalyst 9400 ordering guide identifies C9407-ACC-KIT= as the accessory kit for the seven-slot Catalyst 9407R chassis. Cisco lists separate accessory-kit PIDs for the four-slot and ten-slot chassis, so the chassis number must remain part of the order and receiving record.
The kit supports chassis installation and handling. It is not the C9407R switch, a supervisor, a line card, a power supply, a fan tray, a rack shelf or a software entitlement.

Cisco's standard kit list does not include the chassis-specific shelf kit. Validate the intended rack method and order the correct shelf or rack hardware when the deployment requires it. Power supplies, fan tray, supervisor modules, line cards, optics, power cables and licensing also remain separate configuration decisions.
For a replacement-only order, compare the requested PID against the existing chassis and the missing components list. For a new chassis build, reconcile the complete Cisco Commerce configuration rather than assuming the accessory kit completes the bill of materials.
