Both records belong to the Catalyst 9300X fiber family and use SFP28 downlink positions, but they are not substitutes. C9300X-12Y-E has 12 downlink ports and Network Essentials identity. C9300X-24Y-M has 24 downlink ports and is ordered for Meraki Advanced or Enterprise operation.
