901-P300-WW02 supplies a pre-provisioned pair

Ruckus 901-P300-WW02 includes two P300 bridge kits supplied as a pre-provisioned pair. This is the key commercial difference from WW01, which is one unit. The pair is intended to establish both ends of a new 5 GHz outdoor backhaul link, although site-specific radio, security and network parameters still require validation during commissioning.

Two-ended link planning

Each P300 is a 2x2:2 802.11ac bridge with one Gigabit PoE Ethernet port and a directional 14 dBi internal antenna. Survey both mounting locations for line of sight, Fresnel-zone clearance, local 5 GHz channel rules and cable/grounding paths. Link distance and application throughput depend on interference, antenna alignment, channel width and regulatory power limits.

What pre-provisioned does and does not mean

The two units arrive paired for bridge setup, but that does not remove the need to inspect labels, record serials, update firmware where supported, set management access, change credentials and integrate the bridge into the target VLAN/IP design. For point-to-multipoint expansion, additional non-root units and capacity planning are separate decisions.

Pair-level bill-of-material checks

The WW02 order includes two P300 kits and their mounting brackets. Ruckus explicitly excludes PoE injectors, power adapters, optional external antennas and external RF cables. A complete deployment therefore needs two suitable PoE sources plus outdoor Ethernet, grounding and surge-protection materials for both ends.
