Backhaul role, not a client access AP
The P300 is a 2x2:2 802.11ac point-to-point and point-to-multipoint bridge for outdoor backhaul. It uses one Gigabit Ethernet port with 802.3af PoE input and an integrated 14 dBi directional antenna. The published 867 Mbps PHY rate is a radio link rate, not guaranteed payload throughput.
Single-unit commissioning
Before replacing one side of an existing link, record root/non-root role, SSID, channel, security settings and current firmware. Ruckus's setup guide specifies base image 100.1.0.9 or later and notes FlexMaster management from firmware 9.12, but the exact software path must be checked against the deployed peer before change.
Power and installation boundary
The standard WW01 order includes one P300 kit and mounting hardware. It does not include a PoE injector, power adapter, external antenna or external RF cable. Plan grounding, surge protection, outdoor-rated Ethernet and line-of-sight alignment separately; the optional PoE injector is for indoor installation.
