MX2020 Overview
MX2020 Chassis Scale
MX2020 is the largest chassis in Juniper's MX2000 line. The official platform data sheet lists 20 MPC slots, 4 Tbps capacity per slot and 80 Tbps system throughput. This is a full-rack carrier platform rather than a branch router, and a bare chassis should not be treated as a complete forwarding system.

The chassis occupies 45 rack units, uses front-to-back airflow and requires four-post mounting. Juniper lists an approximate maximum configured weight of 1,500 lb.
