A TAA order with a defined 24-port powered access role

Juniper’s exact EX2300-24P-TAA ordering row specifies 24 10/100/1000BASE-T PoE+ ports and four 1/10GbE SFP/SFP+ uplinks. Preserve the full TAA code when matching the quotation and equipment label. The standard 24P, a 24T without endpoint power and a -VC order are different purchasing lines. A TAA designation in the manufacturer catalog does not independently verify the origin or procurement documents of a specific offered unit; request the documentation required by the buyer.

Share 370 W across the powered endpoints

The official hardware model table assigns PoE/PoE+ to all 24 access ports on EX2300-24P-TAA and lists a maximum 370 W system PoE budget. This is a total shared by endpoints, not a promise that all ports can draw their individual maximum simultaneously. Build a power allocation for the actual phones, cameras and access points before choosing the switch. The manufacturer datasheet identifies AC power for the 24P platform; the switch’s own consumption and endpoint power budget are different quantities.

Separate uplink optics from the Virtual Chassis license

The four uplink positions support compatible 1GbE SFP or 10GbE SFP+ transceivers, which the exact ordering row says are sold separately. The hardware table marks the Virtual Chassis license as not available in this TAA ordering row, while the datasheet separately lists EX2300-VC as the license for 24- and 48-port EX2300 switches. Do not quote this order as an included -VC bundle. The family can interconnect up to four switches using supported configured uplink ports; verify the license, software, transceivers and link configuration for the intended stack instead of assuming that physical sockets establish entitlement.

Purchase after the last-order milestone with a support plan

Juniper’s TSB107683 explicitly includes EX2300-24P-TAA. EOL was announced on 30 April 2026, and the published last-order date was 30 September 2026. The table lists end of hardware failure analysis on 30 September 2027, end of engineering on 30 September 2029 and end of support on 30 September 2031. It names 25.4 as the last software version, rather than the installed or recommended version for a particular switch. This page therefore concerns a legacy acquisition after the last-order date. Confirm the offered unit, serial-specific support eligibility, software rights, warranty provider and migration path; future published support does not establish available manufacturer stock or an active contract.
