S5735-L24T4S-A provides 24 copper 10/100/1000BASE-T ports and four Gigabit Ethernet SFP ports with AC power. It does not provide PoE+, so powered access points, phones or cameras require injectors or a different P-suffix switch.

Huawei lists 42 Mpps forwarding performance and 56 Gbit/s device switching capacity for this 24-port GE configuration. The four uplinks are GE SFP ports rather than 10GE SFP+ service uplinks. Buyers should validate the intended optical modules and software release against the exact non-V2 model documentation.

Procurement and Substitution Checks

The model belongs to the CloudEngine S5735-L campus-switch family and is intended for fixed Gigabit access. Do not substitute S5735-L24P4S-A, S5735-L24T4X-A or S5735-L24T4S-A-V2 solely because the names are similar: PoE capability, uplink speed, stacking options and software support differ by suffix and generation.
