S1720-28GWR-4P Gigabit Access with Four GE Optical Uplinks

S1720-28GWR-4P has 24 10/100/1000BASE-T downlinks and four 1000BASE-X optical uplinks. The 4P suffix identifies Gigabit optical uplinks; it must not be interpreted as four 10 Gigabit ports.

Capacity profile

Huawei lists 68 Gbit/s switching capacity and 42 Mpps forwarding for the S1720 28-port GWR-P layout. This fits a Gigabit access layer with GE fiber aggregation where 10GE uplink capacity is not required.

Web-managed operation
