CE6860-HAM Overview
High-performance Ethernet switch with licensed speed expansion
Huawei CloudEngine CE6860-HAM provides 48 SFP28 downlink ports and eight QSFP28 uplink ports in a 1U fixed switch. Base part 02354WBA is specified without power supplies or fan modules.
Default versus licensed speeds
The hardware can support 50GE on the 48 SFP56-capable positions and 200GE on the eight QSFP56-capable positions, but Huawei states that the default operating entitlement is 25GE and 100GE. RTU part 88036EUQ is required for the 50GE/200GE upgrade.
Power and airflow selection
The chassis has two hot-swappable power slots and four hot-swappable fan slots. Match power and fan airflow direction. Separate assembled part numbers add two AC supplies and four fan modules for port-side intake or port-side exhaust; do not assume those components are included with 02354WBA.
Deployment checks
Verify the exact part number, enabled RTU, supported software, optics, breakout design, airflow and redundant power BOM. Huawei notes that stacking and USB-based deployment are not currently supported on this model.
