AirEngine 8760R-X1E External-Antenna Design

AirEngine 8760R-X1E is the external-antenna model; it must not be confused with the AirEngine 8760R-X1, which uses built-in smart antennas. Huawei specifies Wi-Fi 6 operation, up to 16 spatial streams and a maximum aggregate device rate of 10.75 Gbit/s. The radio profile can operate with two radios or split the 5 GHz capacity across a three-radio design.

Outdoor Interfaces and Power

The official product information lists one 10GE electrical port, one GE electrical port and one 10GE SFP+ optical port. Power is supplied through IEEE 802.3bt PoE. The enclosure is intended for outdoor use, but antenna selection, surge protection, grounding, cable loss and local radio regulations remain part of the deployment design.
