Three-Year FortiGate 70G Hardware and UTP Deployment Bundle

FG-70G-BDL-950-36 is a hardware bundle containing one FortiGate 70G appliance plus three years of Unified Threat Protection and FortiCare Premium support. FortiGate 70G platform identity

Fortinet documents the 70G with SOC5/SP5 processing and ten front-panel Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 interfaces. Ports A and B serve as FortiLink interfaces, while WAN1 and WAN2 provide named WAN connections. Validate the final interface allocation, switch-management design and local power/cabling plan before installation rather than treating the subscription bundle as a complete site design.

What the UTP term supplies

UTP includes the ATP foundation of IPS, antivirus/advanced malware protection, cloud sandbox detection and application control, then adds URL filtering, secure DNS filtering, video filtering and anti-botnet/C2 services. FortiCare Premium technical support is included with FortiGuard bundles. The services require registration and active entitlement for ongoing engines, signatures and cloud-delivered intelligence.

Three-year rollout plan

Use year one for registration, policy migration, baseline tuning and validation of web/DNS controls. During year two, review IPS and malware events, false positives, filtering exceptions and application visibility. Before the third-year expiry, compare renewal, an Enterprise upgrade or a platform change using measured traffic, incident and compliance requirements.

Know what UTP does not add

UTP is designed for network and web defense. It does not include Enterprise Protection's advanced DLP, AI-based inline malware prevention, IoT detection and vulnerability correlation, or attack-surface monitoring and risk scoring. Add OT Security separately for industrial device and protocol coverage.

Acceptance checklist

Record the complete bundle SKU, appliance serial, 36-month service dates, end-customer support account, deployment country and activation confirmation. Verify that the hardware arrives undamaged, all expected interfaces are present, the device is registered, FortiGuard databases update successfully and Premium support appears against the correct serial.
