Three-Year FortiGate 70G Enterprise Protection Hardware Bundle

FG-70G-BDL-809-36 includes one physical FortiGate 70G with three years of FortiGuard Enterprise Protection and FortiCare Premium support. The Enterprise bundle contains the ATP and UTP layers, then adds controls for data, SaaS, IoT and attack-surface governance. This is a hardware bundle, not a subscription-only renewal.

FortiGate 70G deployment facts

Fortinet documents SOC5/SP5 processing and ten front-panel Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 interfaces on the 70G. Ports A and B are FortiLink interfaces and WAN1/WAN2 are named WAN ports. Before shipment, confirm the regional hardware variant, required accessories, WAN design, FortiLink topology and physical installation requirements.

Enterprise capabilities beyond UTP

Enterprise Protection includes the UTP network and web controls, then adds advanced data loss prevention, AI-based inline malware prevention, IoT detection with vulnerability correlation, and attack-surface monitoring with security-posture risk scoring. FortiConverter is also shown as an Enterprise inclusion in Fortinet's current bundle matrix. OT-specific protocol and device recognition remains a separate OT Security service.

Three-year control rollout

During the first phase, register the appliance, validate service activation and baseline network, SaaS, data and IoT visibility. In the second phase, tune DLP patterns, inline malware actions, device classification and remediation ownership. Before the third-year renewal, use incident, risk-score and compliance evidence to decide whether to renew, redesign policies or replace the platform.

Make monitoring actionable

Assign owners to security-posture findings and IoT vulnerability correlations. Define an exception process, remediation due dates and evidence retention for regulated controls. Enterprise features add visibility and detection, but they do not automatically resolve misconfigurations or authorize disruptive policy changes.

Acceptance record

Capture the full bundle SKU, appliance serial, 36-month entitlement dates, deployment country, end-customer FortiCloud account and Premium support registration. Verify FortiGuard update health and test each licensed profile that the design depends on. Keep DLP and IoT policy decisions separate from unsupported assumptions about OT coverage.
