Three-Year Brownfield OT Security Program for FortiGate 50G-5G

FC-10-F50G5-159-02-36 provides 36 months of FortiGuard OT Security for one registered FortiGate 50G-5G. Its role is to add OT-oriented asset, protocol, vulnerability and protection intelligence to an eligible appliance. It does not redesign the industrial network or include physical equipment.

Year one: establish the industrial baseline

Reconcile PLCs, RTUs, HMIs, engineering workstations, historians and gateways with observed communications. Confirm service and update health, supported protocols and primary/5G path behavior. Begin with monitored policies so process owners can validate identity and normal operations.

Year two: move selected risks to control

Classify findings into approved process traffic, obsolete services, unauthorized engineering access and vulnerability exposure. Apply virtual patches or industrial signatures through controlled maintenance windows. Keep an owner and expiry condition for every exception and compensating control.

Year three: prepare continuity

Remove retired assets, reconcile topology changes and review unsupported protocols. Compare inspection demand with device headroom and the next FortiOS and plant roadmap. Decide on renewal, platform migration or complementary monitoring before entitlement expiry.

Procurement evidence

Retain the exact SKU, serial, Fortinet account, region, 36-month dates, OT asset baseline, policy mappings and accepted tests. General IPS, malware, FortiCare, RMA, switches, sensors, carrier service and engineering labor are outside this line.
