One-Year Cloud Malware Analysis for FortiGate 50G-5G

FC-10-F50G5-100-02-12 is a 12-month Advanced Malware Protection entitlement for one eligible FortiGate 50G-5G. Fortinet associates the `100` service family with per-device FortiSandbox SaaS. This service analyzes eligible files through the registered appliance; it does not include the firewall, 5G data plan or a complete ATP, UTP or Enterprise bundle.

Approve what may leave the branch

Before activation, confirm the appliance serial, FortiCloud account, deployment region, supported FortiOS release and sandbox connectivity. Document which file types and traffic paths may be submitted and reconcile cloud analysis with privacy, residency and confidential-data rules. Do not enable submission broadly without an owner and exception process.

Connect verdicts to response

Test logging and notification with an approved validation procedure. Define who reviews malicious, suspicious, timeout and error outcomes, which endpoint or session evidence is collected, and when a verdict triggers containment. The subscription supplies analysis capability; it does not create an incident-response workflow by itself.

Measure the first-year outcome

Track submission volume, verdict latency, confirmed detections, false positives, failed uploads and unresolved investigations. Review whether 5G failover changes cloud reachability or data-handling exposure. Before month 12, decide whether the focused malware service remains sufficient or a broader security bundle is required.

Order and renewal record

Retain the exact SKU, target serial, account, region, activation and expiry dates, submission policy owner and authorized quote. Do not infer web filtering, secure DNS, DLP, IoT security, FortiCare, RMA or hardware from the `100` code.
