RF-TX1-915 USA/AU Portable Audio Transmitter

RF-TX1-915 is the 915 MHz version of Contacta's compact bodypack transmitter. It distributes live speech or music to any number of compatible RF-RX1-915 receivers assigned to its channel. The device is not a Wi-Fi access point, switch or IP streaming appliance.

Input and gain workflow

The mini-XLR microphone connector supports Contacta's compatible presenter microphones, while a separate 3.5 mm input accepts an audio source. Establish gain with the expected source, check talk/mute indication and monitor from a receiver at the far edge of the audience before use.

915 MHz group setup

Use this PID only for an approved USA/AU 915 MHz deployment and keep 865 MHz units out of the group. Program one clear channel, test coexistence with other venue RF systems, then lock or document device settings so replacement units can be prepared consistently.

Battery fulfillment boundary

The manual supports two AA alkaline or rechargeable NiMH cells and lists more than eight hours with 2100 mAh rechargeables. It states that rechargeable batteries are included with the 865 version only, so a 915 MHz order must explicitly provide and manage suitable cells rather than borrowing the other SKU's box contents.
