RF-TX1-865 UK/EU Portable Bodypack Transmitter

RF-TX1-865 sends speech or music over Contacta's 865 MHz portable RF system. It accepts a compatible microphone through its three-pole mini-XLR input and program audio through a 3.5 mm input, then serves RF-RX1-865 receivers selected to the same channel.

Presenter connection plan

Choose the lapel, ear-worn or other approved microphone for the presenter and secure the bodypack so the flexible antenna is not folded against the body. Set microphone gain with the actual speaker, check mute/talk control, and prevent the 3.5 mm input from overloading when a mixer or playback source is used.

Tour route commissioning

Contacta publishes open-field transmission up to 100 metres while the manual gives an operating-range reference above 50 metres. Buildings and crowds change that result, so walk-test the real route, record the selected channel and place the receiver group where speech remains intelligible.

865 package and charging

The 865 version listing includes a lapel microphone, lanyard, USB power cable and two 2100 mAh rechargeable NiMH AA batteries. Verify current contents at receiving. The bodypack can also use a compatible drop-in charging system; keep battery age and charging cycles in the event inventory.
