Build the RF-TXRM-915 system around 915 MHz receivers

RF-TXRM-915 is Contacta's USA/AU stationary transmitter variant. Its compatible portable receiver is RF-RX1-915. Keep the 915 MHz identity on the quotation, rack label and receiver pool so that an 865 MHz kit is not mixed into the deployed system.

Commission the RF path in the real venue

The manual's high-power line-of-sight reference exceeds 100 metres, but occupied rooms, partitions and antenna placement can reduce service. Walk the required audience area with multiple RF-RX1-915 receivers, listen for dropouts and document the selected RF power and operating frequency.

Use the supplied USA/AU power variant

Box contents identify a universal 12 V supply with US/AU adaptor for the 915 MHz package, together with earthing cable, TNC rod antenna and 19-inch rack ear. Verify supply label, outlet compatibility, cable strain relief and protective earth before energising the rack.

Connect programme audio deliberately

Available interfaces include microphone, auxiliary and loop inputs and corresponding monitoring/output paths. Set input type and gain for the actual source, then lock the operating controls and save an acceptance record that another operator can reproduce.

Receiving checks

The 215 x 210 x 51 mm, 1.25 kg unit uses a TNC antenna connector and a 12 VDC 1 A supply derived from 100–240 VAC. Match model, frequency, antenna, rack hardware, adaptor and RF-RX1-915 receivers before handover.
